No you don't, we teach you all you need to know.
do i need a crochet hook?
No you don't need a crochet hook, we have some you can borrow with a small deposit of $3.00
if I can't crochet, can I still help?
Yes! of course you can still help, We also weave our sleeping mats.
do i have to have a weaving frame of my own?
No you don't need a frame of your own. We have frames for you to use at each meeting, We also have frames you can take home to use on your own time. The frames require a small deposit that you will get back when you no longer wish to use it.
can I make my own frame?
Yes you can !!!! We have patterns available, just let us know you wish to make your frame.
how often do you meet?
We meet once a month, Every second Wednesday.
Where do the Bag ladies meet?
We meet at the Owen Sound Library. In the board room.

what time do you meet?
We meet from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. (the library closes at 9, so we pack up at 8:45)
what else does the bag ladies do?
We collect fabric to make pillows, we stuff these pillows with the 'garbage' generated from making the sleeping mats.
do you take donations?
Yes, we do. Our donations are used to purchase material to keep The Bag Ladies running.
