A lot of people have questions about the club. We are fairly new and that is expected. Not everyone knows who we are or even that there is even a craft club called Helping Hands. Please feel free to tell your family and friends about us. Share our website with them!

Who are we?
We are a group of people who love to make items with our hands and share the rewards with people who need help in our community.
Who do we help?
We help so many people in so many different situations some include...flood, fire, abuse, victims etc.
High school students have an opportunity to get some of their volunteer hours through us. Students with their school trips, lunch programs. Food bank. And many more...

Why join the Helping Hands Craft Club?
We have a wonderful group of very crafty and fun people. It's a great opportunity to sell your crafts, make
some pocket money for yourself. You get to meet others with the same interest. You get to learn and have
fun. AND !! Most important you get to help people in our community that are in need. Application can be

How do we help?
We use the profits from our craft sales.
We make items from donated supplies and direct them to anyone in need.

We raise money during our social and club events.

What else does the club do?
We as a club loves to help in any way we can. Some of the other ways we help are...
- making milk bag sleeping mats for Haiti.
- Putting together Christmas shoe boxes through Operation Christmas Child under Samaritan's Purse Canada.

Can I attend a meeting before I join?
Yes you can, but only paid members can vote.
How do I join?
We welcome anyone that is interested in helping others in our community. You don't even have to be crafty. just contact any one of our board members and they will help you. Or you can to to the "Membership Application" here on this website.
Can I rent tables at he clubs craft sales without being a member?
Yes, anyone is more than welcome to apply to rent tables. Paid members will be given first opportunity for table rentals. You can find a vendor application here.
Can I attend a social event before I join?
Yes you can. With or without a member. There is a small fee of $5.00 per person to cover the cost of the
event. You are allowed to attend two social events then you must be a member if you wish to attend more
events.

Do we as a club get together for social events?
Yes. our members get together for some social time. Some of the things we do during our time together are:
- pot lucks
- Christmas dinners
- fun fill nights
- milk bag sleeping mats with The Bag Ladies.
- after our monthly meetings everyone is welcome to go for coffee/sweets to a location decided at each meeting.

Can vendors with a direct sales (example: Avon, scentsy etc.) business rent tables at the clubs craft sales?
If your business consist of handmade items ABSOLUTELY ! We have only a few tables available if your business
is something like Avon, Scentsy or Pampered Chef etc. Application can be found here.

Can you tell me about your Community Outreach?
We love to get involved with the community. Here are a few examples we love to do....
- We offer craft courses to the community
- We do crafts with boys and girls clubs.
- We also try to work on a craft with students in schools.
- We share crafts with residents in our local nursing homes.

Can I register for courses offered by the Helping Hands Craft Club?
Yes you can.
Paid members have the first opportunity to register and also receive a discount for each course.

Can I make items from the clubs donated items and return to the club without being a member?
Yes you can. All you need to do is contact one of the board members, tell them what you want to do and they
can connect you with our craft supplies.

Does the club have an age restriction to receive donated items to make into items to return back to the club?
Does the club have an age restriction to join?
Yes, 17 years old or younger you must have a parent or guardian fill out an separate section. After your
application is received and approved you will be contacted to make arrangements to have the parent/guardian section filled out. Application can be found here.
